Heavy-Duty Pallet Racking Protectors

Within warehouses and other industrial structures where heavy machinery moves around fixed objects, there is a high risk of collision. We highly encourage the use of heavy-duty pallet racking protectors to guard against the damaging impact of such machinery as forklifts. 

Getting around tight corners and trying to turn around in a narrow space can easily result in a forklift or cart banging into shelves, pillars, and more. If, however, the area is shielded from the impact by a guard that comes up to the correct height of the forklift, minimal damage will occur. These racking safety barriers are secured using anchorage bolts affixed to the ground. They come in varied sizes to suit different columns. 

They can also be supplied in a choice of either a right angle or ‘U’ shaped guards. Right angle protectors require just four bolts to secure, while ‘U’ shaped protectors are secured with six bolts. This translates into the use of two bolts per side. The thickness of these devices ranges between 5-6mm providing solid cover for areas needing protection. The height of right-angled protectors can range from between 400-1200mm, while ‘U’ shaped devices can be supplied at a height of 400mm. 

These pallet racking protectors come in highly visible colouring. The yellow and black striped pattern is easily seen even under low light conditions and in the rearview mirror of a forklift.  This conforms with ZH1/428 and DIN4844 Safety Guidelines regarding visibility and use of safety colors and signs.
